Sickora Apartment in New Smyrna Beach
A 91 year old, severely arthritic woman, and her caretaker husband (age 93) needed a ramp so she could exit her home safely. They have been using a steep homemade ramp, which put a big strain on Mr. Sickora.
The Builders Care team of volunteers built a rather complicated ramp on a Saturday in October. The neighbors cooked lunch for the volunteers and in fact helped build the project.
