King of the Wing - Restaurants

Your restaurant is invited to take part in the King of the Wing! 

Do you think you serve the best chicken wings? If so, save the date & sign up!! 

IT’S FREE TO ENTER A COOKING TEAM!! That’s right FREE, so no excuses to not put your wings to the test! You aren’t chicken, are you?!?      

Sponsored by the Volusia Building Industry Association this competition features local area restaurants and Volusia Building Industry Association member businesses in this unique outdoor tradeshow/chicken wing competition. We anticipate this to be a huge event as it will be jointly promoted through the Daytona Beach Kennel Club & local radio. The winner will receive a traveling trophy for one year as well as bragging rights for being crowned "King of the Wing". The winner will also be announced as the "King of the Wing" in all press releases.

The Volusia Building Industry Association would like to personally invite your restaurant to participate in the 2010 King of the Wing Competition. All you have to do is fill out the entry form and be prepared to serve at least 500 of your best chicken wings to compete for the title of the 2010 King of the Wing. If your restaurant does not serve chicken wings and you would like to exhibit and offer various selections from your menu, we welcome you to sign up for a booth, the more the merrier!

In 2009, Daytona Beach Ale House earned the King of the Wing title, and Gene’s Steak House won the People’s Choice Award. Does YOUR restaurant have what it takes to be KING OF THE WING in 2010? The only way to find out is to enter the contest! Plus, this year there will be an award for "Best Booth", "People's Choice" and we will be hosting a Wing Eating Contest, which is sponsored by the Original First Turn.
