local HBA’s CEU course to our members for further opportunities to satisfy the requirements for their
    licenses.

MEMBER RELATIONS

  • The VHBA holds an event to promote our Associates to our Builders. The event gives our associates a chance to meet one on one with a builder to promote their company/product/service.

BUYER AWARENESS

  • The VHBA held two premier events during the year to increase awareness of the products that our builders have to offer. The emphasis was placed on why “Now is the Time to Buy!”

COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT

  • Builders Care, Inc. - The VHBA started a non profit construction company to provide construction services at no cost to deserving elderly and disabled homeowners who cannot obtain home repairs through traditional means. It’s our way of giving back to the community. You can learn more and view photos of their projects at www.VolusiaHomeBuilders.org/Builders_Care.
  • Future Builders of America - The VHBA has started three local chapters of FBA (Deland High School, New Smyrna Beach High School and Seabreeze High School). FBA links students in area schools with the local building community. Guest speakers and field trips to building sites along with opportunities for summer and postgraduation employment help introduce students to rewarding opportunities in the residential construction industry. Club meetings also provide for camaraderie
and an opportunity for students to improve their leadership and teamwork skills.
